The Southern Swells are here and surfers are taking advantage of nice large waves

On the other hand, I watch a man get slammed on the rocks at Ala Moana as he ventured to retrieve a surfboard that had been split in half. EMS assisted the man with his injuries, and in another incident, lifeguards helped out another man that he decided to take a swim near the channel.  In addition, I watch some sailboats exit the harbor while some very large swells were rolling in.

However, it was fun times for some surfers, body boarders and paddlers.
